I am a Western Montana photographer, working mostly in Missoula and Ravalli Counties. My husband, Mark, and I love life here. God has blessed us with a beautiful family and great friends and I hope to glorify Him in all that I say and do, including my work.

Photography truly is an art form. There is so much more to providing high quality photographs to clients than snapping a picture with a digital camera. It involves planning; knowledge and use of equipment; lighting and surroundings; as well as developing/post processing. It is a creative process that I enjoy. I think people are familiar with most of these things, but many do not realize that professional digital photographers shoot in RAW and, just as professional film photographers influence the outcome of photographs in the dark room, we have to do the same with a computer program. It takes time and patience to provide clients with photographs that look natural, beautiful, and unique. Uniqueness is important, which is why I do not use cookie cutter processing (making all photos look the same). That wouldn't allow me to make each one the best it can be. You are unique and your photos should be, too.
